So today, I'm going to show you just how easy it is, then I'll tell you why it's important.

First off, you need to log into your blogger account and go to your dashboard. In the top right hand corner, choose "edit profile."
After you choose "Edit Profile", blogger will redirect you to this page. Put a check next to the "show my email address" option.
Then scroll down to the bottom and save your changes!
That's it! Your email address is now easily accessible to us.

Now, the WHY.
When you choose the option "show my email address" and you leave a comment on MMB, that comment comes to our inbox, from your email. So we're able to easily get in touch with you. If you do NOT enable your email, we get the generic "no-reply comment" message instead.
It also will show as a link on your blogger profile page.
Believe me when I say, it makes a world of difference when we don't have to hunt down your email address.So that's it! Now, please, if you haven't already, enable access to your email. Thanks!

I just wanted to add, for anyone worried, that you can create an email account specifically for this purpose, so that you are not sharing your regular one. I signed up for a free google mail account, and that way my last name and husband's business name are not available to random people who read my blog. (No one on MMB, of course, fits in that category ;0).) I set up my email program to check both at the same time, so I don't need to go log in to an extra place.

Sure now you tell me. =) It only took me a day to figure out how to enable my e-mail on my profile. I'm glad I'm not the only one who didn't know how to do it.
I finally figured out how to do this several weeks ago...it has made a HUGE difference in my blogging. Having the ability to have that personal contact through comments and comment responses makes takes the whole experience to a much more personal level.
And let me just say...it is SO frustrating when I want to respond to a great comment someone has left, but they don't have their email enabled!

Did it! Now I want to do one of these tutorials for people to have comments from their blogs sent to their email because I hate when people don't realize they have comments...I mean DUH!
