As for my family, I have 5 and I never really thought that would be the case. We had 2 boys first and I knew I wasn't done so we had a 3rd. It was a girl!! After her I just felt like one more would be perfect, especially if it was another little girl. Little did I know what Heavenly Father had in store. We ended up having twin girls who will turn 2 tomorrow. The dr. asked me in the delivery room (I had to have a c-section) if I wanted my tubes tied and I just didn't feel right about it. I don't know if we'll have any more. 5 is crazy and I'm not sure I could do another one right now but for now I think the Lord is leaving the decision up to us. Just remember that the Lord knows what you can handle and if he tells you there is another spirit that should join your family you can handle it. If he isn't give you a real yes or now answer then maybe it's up to you. Pray and have faith. My excuse (and it’s a good one) is that my skin is so sensitive and dry that I cannot wear any jewelry very long otherwise I get a nasty red ring around my finger and my ears keloid.

I have mixed feelings about the frump thing, here’s why: Growing up my Mom rarely did herself up. I mean we are talking once a week for church. Sometimes she would even go out without brushing her hair. There was also an aura that she had when she was frumpy. Frazzled, tired, grumpy, even with a smile on her face, she was masking the fact that her attire had a direct effect on her mood.

My mother was and still is a beautiful woman, the type of person when she felt confident about herself; she could easily light up a room with her enthusiasm and mega-watt smile. I have been told my whole life what a beautiful lady she is. The problem was SHE didn’t believe it when she was in stained clothes, hair uncombed, and this different person would appear, someone not so fun to be around and self-conscious. And how could she, really?

I know what you’re thinking, “This chic must walk around looking like the cover of Mormon Vogue without a hair out of place”………….Wrong! I would say I am somewhere in-between. On the days I am not working with a client and home cleaning or taking care of things as the Mom, I do sometimes do the frump thing. In fact I have even done it a couple days in a row, but that’s my limit. I start to feel like crap and treat everyone else the same (I do comb my hair before I go anywhere AND brush my teeth, I have my standards:).

I KNOW I act differently when I make the effort to look nice. No, I am not the weight I would like to be, but I feel better when I wear clothes that fit me and flatter the full figured Sugar Mama that I am. It changes how I interact with my kids, neighbors, people I talk to on the phone, my clients and most importantly my own Prince Charming / Sugar Daddy that is working hard all day to bring home the majority of the bacon.

I am not one of these prima donnas’ who put makeup on to go to the gym that is when the funky headband or nasty ponytail is appropriate in my opinion.

This is hard for me to do and a constant inner battle with myself, but to me it’s worth it to make the effort most days…… It’s ok to take a few minutes at the beginning of the day or after the older kid’s are off to school, the whole day is better and brighter. At least for me…..

DEAR HUSBAND OF SLOB,

I seriously doubt yo...

DEAR HUSBAND OF SLOB,

I seriously doubt you weigh exactly the same as you did when you first got married either. If your love for her was only skin deep I feel sorry for both of you, especially you. Has your wife had hard pregnancies and kids close together? Has she suffered from any health problems?

Do you treat her like you did when you were first married? Do you come home and pick up the slack with the house and the kids or are you the type that expects dinner on the table, the house to be immaculate and the kids to be dressed, clean and she look like she stepped out of fashion magazine?
Have you spent a couple of days doing what she does for your family? Kids peeing, pooping and puking on you all day? Undoing anything that you have cleaned up in the house while you clean it? Keeping up with feedings, naps, errands, whining, tantrums, laundry and that is just to name a few? Do you have any idea what a thankless and hard job that is? You may be inclined less to judge if you did. So she’s gained some weight. Have you ever thought you criticizing her only makes her feel worse and not better.

When was the last time you came home with a handful of flowers, wrapped your arms around her and told her how much you loved and appreciated her? Guaranteed if she felt appreciated by you and loved unconditionally, she may have the motivation to take better care of herself.

Spend some quality time with her without the kids, talk to her, and find out if she is suffering from depression or anxiety or she is just simply insecure because she is not good enough in your eyes.
Look in the mirror, dude. Does she like what she sees in you? Do you encourage her to be her best self? Or do you focus on her flaws? If you take some time to see what you could be doing to contribute to your marital issues, you’ll be amazed at just how amazing married life can be.

I know I sound harsh and I apologize for that. With or without the extra 50 pounds, your wife, family, and marriage are worth making the effort. People got such a kick out of it and of course, we kids LOVED it. I think Kid Art is the BEST (and I still think so after living and traveling in Europe for a year and visiting all the great art museums in Paris, London, Munich, etc. etc. etc.!) I did the same thing for my own children - art supplies and kid art on the walls of our home but I have never thought of holding an ART SHOW! Brilliant! I think you should raise your hand and say something. They'll probably stop introducing you as a move-in after that. Maybe you'll even end up teaching primary for the next 10 years. ;) Anyway, I agree that the best way to follow the Savior is to reach out to whomever needs your help the most. I think that would start with the less active people in your own ward and your neighbors.

Hi i want to add a color to my beige living room a...

Hi i want to add a color to my beige living room and black coffee tables, i love bold colors to add some life
i attached an image of how the room looks
